The Amazing Benefits from 30g’s for Life
Reducing sugar a few grams each day to get to 30 grams has a cumulative effect that causes drastic, amazing and life changing effects!
I know because I’ve done it and healed myself from an onset of Multiple Sclerosis that took me totally by surprise. The process of healing wasn’t overnight but one that gradually took place by implementing the 30g’s for Life Program. You can read more about my journey by clicking here.
By “simply” learning to reduce a few grams a day and get your intake to 30 grams or less you will:
1. Reduce obesity
Too much sugar consumption is the leading cause of the increased obesity rate in America. By reducing sugar consumption, the obesity rate can be reduced.
Obesity is associated with a number of health risks:
- High blood pressure
- Diabetes type 2 (20.8M adults in 2011 triple the number from 1980 per CDC)
- Heart disease
- High cholesterol levels
- Cancer
- Infertility
- Back pain
- Skin infections
- Ulcers
- Gallstones
By consuming 30 grams or less of sugar on a daily basis, these risks can be lowered or eliminated.
2. Reduce inflammation
Inflammation is considered to be the root cause of a number of diseases and illnesses especially autoimmune diseases.
By consuming 30 grams or less of sugar on a daily basis, inflammation can be reduced creating a healthier body.
3. Reduce and eliminate depression and other mental illnesses
Sugar suppresses activity of a key growth hormone in the brain called BDNF. This hormone promotes the health and maintenance of neurons in the brain, and it plays a vital role in memory function by triggering the growth of new connections between neurons.
BDNF levels are critically low in both depression and schizophrenia.
4. Help eliminate sleep disorders
Our bodies are designed to burn fat at night because it burns long and slow. But sugar and carbs burn quickly. With higher blood sugar levels, our bodies never go into fat metabolism during the night, instead it continues to burn sugar and carbs. This delivers quick short energy burst which cause sleep disturbance and isn’t good for your metabolism.
5. Clear up digestive disorders
Sugar can cause blood level sugar to spike which can lead to excess thirst, headaches, nausea, and increase in appetite leading to overeating. By reducing your sugar intake you are allowing your body to digest your food without interruption and disturbances. This is good news for your metabolism and for your overall feeling of health and vitality.
