What is 30g’s?

30g’s represents the consumption of 30 grams of sugar or less.   The 30g’s for Life program is an easy program that brings awareness to how much sugar we consume on a daily basis.  Through weekly coaching conference calls I will teach you how to reduce sugar consumption to 30 grams per day or less for Life.

  4. Fructose
  5. Barley malt

Do I have to exercise to do this program?

No, the basic level of 30g’s only requires that you consume 30 grams or less of sugar on a daily basis.  If you chose to advance to level 3, then exercise would be required.  You may want to contact your personal physician before starting any exercise program.

How do I determine how many grams of sugar are in the foods I eat?

Smartphone apps can assist you in determining the number of grams of sugar in every food item. Packaged food requires nutritional labeling and grams of sugar will be identified on the labels.  When dining out, check the restaurant website for the nutritional posting for menu items.  When dining out and nutritional information is not available, avoid dessert and sugary drinks.

I do not have an electronic device such as the smartphone; can I still join the program?

Yes, you do not need a computer or smartphone to participate.   If you have a phone to call in for conference calls that is all you need.  You can track you daily sugar grams with a pen and piece of paper.

Why should I join the 30g’s program?

Check your BMI by using the BMI calculator.

If you are overweight or obese, you are at a higher risk for a number of health disorders.  Sugar is the leading cause of obesity in America.   By joining 30g’s for Life, you will receive instruction and guidance to assist you in consuming 30g’s or less of sugar on a daily basis.  With the weekly conference calls, you will be supported and motivated in your journey to consuming 30g’s or less of sugar on a daily basis.
